The Pencak Silat Championship in conjunction with His Majesty's 79th Birthday Celebration closed its curtains on 8th August night. It was held at the Youth Centre in the capital.​

The Adult Male Class 'D' Category was won by Muhammad Nur Rizal Hakim from Belait District.

In the Adult Male Cakak Asli Category, gold medal was won by Omar Abdul Aziz Hj Ismail from Temburong District.

The Adult Male Melayu Kuntau Category was won by Md Ali Saifullah Abdullah Suhaimi from Majlis Sukan Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei.

Meanwhile, the Adult Male Class 'A' Category went to Mohd Azinuddin Mohd Azree from Majlis Sukan Sekolah Sekolah Brunei Darussalam.

The Adult Male Class 'G' Category was won by Awang Mohd Syukri Awang Mohd Sufri from Majlis Sukan Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei.

Champions for the Adult Male Cakak Asli and Adult Male Melayu Kuntau categories received the personal shield of His Majesty. The overall champion in the tournament was won by Majlis Sukan Sekolah-Sekolah Brunei Darussalam.
